Re: Spliff Rollers Thread™
^^ again a fair point about only losing a tiny bit, but in your case, a strange case to make being someone who would rather roll little skin L-Plates than just using kings cos the small skins are slightly cheaper than kings! The money you lose in dust is definitely more than you save through using smalls!
As for 'crystal worshiping' nah mate, just horribly bored in work..

When I was a youth I used to burn collie weed in a rizla. But now I usually just rub dem in a chalwa.

Not you in particular, just people's fascination in general. I spent a lot of my school blazing years listening to idiots go 'meeeete look at da crystalz 4rm dis weed i got, da henry wayed 5 gramz n itz got like a teenth of crystalz onit!'murky21 wrote:As for 'crystal worshiping' nah mate, just horribly bored in work..
Its just cringey when people go on about weed like its some fashion accessory. Pisses me off whenever I hear people talking about buds like it is coke or something. I appreciate what these 'crystals' do, but just shut up and make a joint. Or do your crystals justice and make some home-made hash.
Yeah its not entirely about the money, I bulk buy skins cos I don't have any form of ID (I am 21 but still get stung sometimes) so its handy to have a few thousand papers at home meaning I never have to get turned down at the shop when I'm gagging for a smoke.murky21 wrote:someone who would rather roll little skin L-Plates than just using kings cos the small skins are slightly cheaper than kings! Had many a lulz about the market for king size skins. They're sat on the shelves at newsagents all over the country, and every one of them knows full well what they're stocking those bad boys for.

Venue I played in Saturday sold kingsize blue slims behind the bar, under a sign saying DRUG USE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ON THESE PREMISES. Nice touch.

First off, logic isn't one thing. It´s more like a pattern than a P.O.V., so you wouldnt be able to tell from one example.OCB is run by bolloré (the actual boss is a mate of sarkozy), and yes le pen is a shareholder @ OCB (and he is not the only one). If you follow this logic you don't buy anything.
what I wont do, is sit and smoke and have to think of how the legal part (the paper) actually funds weapons and populistic race hate, kinda bums me out when stoned, I dont know about you?
There´s obviously a lot of fucked up shareholders in the world, make a T-shirt!

Maybe 'logic' wasn't the right word. What I was trying to say is that buying rizla over ocb is not going to change the way our economy works; for example, that guy from the edl might have shares at rizla, who knows?hubb wrote:First off, logic isn't one thing. If there´s one group of people that ignorantly unite its buddah smokers.
The Shell company lost a lot of income when they started dumping stuff, thats just one example of going against broad business.
I know your point in that there´s little evidence of the effect of 'political'- consumers, but that relates to what can be available in shops, not deciding between products that are actual supply .
One thing is being interested in all these big cooperations and realizing they are in controll and that its a hopeless situation. Another thing is playing into that ( I hope you dont think this is condescending btw) and I mean that seriously, 'spreading' the notion that it is impossible to go against this is what a faceless big business thrive on.
we know Le Penn is associated to OCB so why not act on a fact?.
Rizla is basicly a page from a phonebook, so not that one either lol.

It might change the way OCBs economy works , which is the point - less money funding horrible things.not going to change the way our economy works

the thing is at this level (huge companies that don't look at the background/politic views etc. of their shareholders) I personally think that there is nothing much I can do about it (only my opinion).

Re: Spliff Rollers Thread™
last 6 months or so has been a particularly fruitful period for v high grade skunk, which sounds like a good thing, but on the contrary I think its actually getting to my head a bit.
I'v never really been into hash......but after we got some on holiday thought it might be a good idea to rinse it for a bit as a break....got some ridiculously squidgy black in instead and I have to say I'm loving it...much more mellow, I'm feeling less lethargic in the mornings...and its literally like play doe which is fun - last night I made a spliff holder out of my lump, and atm I'm much preferring rolling tiny sausages rather than having to bother with grinders
so yeah, here to post that I might be a converted man
