Its definitely the most stimulating place i've lived. You never ever have an excuse to be bored, and you're constantly in environments which make you think. Although I've only been here for 6 months so its all still quite different for me.

The main thing I hate is the air. You notice it a lot when going out of the city then coming back, I step onto my road and a wall of hot pollution hits you smack in the chest, so grim.

But the music is decent! Although its not all that easy to find nights with no pretentions or attitude...

Truly sorry to hear this. Tourists are very often targets for bag snatching and pick-pocketing but violent assault is relativrely unusual.

When I say "trivial" violence I mean acts of violence that have no end but only as end in itself. Mugging somebody is to gain money etc and so is not trivial. Young men here do not normally go in for "trivial" violence - obviously there are cases but in general people are less aggressive. I live by a high school and never have seen the type of behaviour which seems standard in the UK. Don't know why this is - perhaps guys here are more interested in running after girls than beating each other up?

Dubstep was born in Croydon, I do my weekly pilgrimage to the old big apple records dodging all the market vendors where I then head to KFC and munch out on a rapstar...

Curry  Yeah curry is good - sure. You are a bit deluded if you think the cuisine in London is the best in the world though. Still we agree about music don't we - and that's why we are here!

And KFC is American - and I wouldn't even feed it to a dog  Stop eating that shit - damn!

London is a real melting pot, culturally, socially and musically. It is no suprise that such a vibrant, diverse yet cohesive sound has emerged.
Its a nice place to visit but I wouldnt want to live there, its too hectic and ball bustingly expensive, all though there are many beautiful women in London, hull birds are ruff as fuck.
I've met some londoners that are completely ignorant about anything north of watford
Don't talk to me about soundsystems, I've been to Leeds...

I love it, a 'romanticised' vision of London, love to see that myself...

But heck, FWD is a massive bonus and something worth romanticising about :D :D :D

So the vast majority of Londoners eat better than anywhere else in the world. I did not know that. That explains why when they come to Spain they eat chips and fast food -as they are on their hols they wanna change from their normal habits. Don't know why I didn't think of that earlier

i didnt say the majority eat it, just that it is on offer if u want to find it. the amount of communities and cultures in london makes for a very wide range of different foods and cuisines. and to be fair there are far far more sushi places in central london than there are chippies...

the type of ppl who go on package holidays to the costa del sol or whatever are bound to be quite narrow-minded and stick to what they know, english or not! :D
