Liquorice

What is a "licorice vegetable" ?
Liquorice flavour can be extracted from the root of a plant called Liquorice. It's not a vegetable though.

We usually get it from Anise though, I guess...

I don't know, but I can never see the word Dill without thinking of the dog from The Adventures of Parsley The Lion.

I have the same problem with Sage the Owl.

Oooh, you're right too. Apparently there was a sequel series called The Adventures of Parsley though!

I looked up Ines Rosales but all I found were pics of a Fox News anchor haha.
But I see it's those sweet flatbreads with sugar on them. I've had them before but never tasted anything like liquorice. The only ones I've had tasted like cinnamon.

I love celery though. It's one of my main snacks. Never associated with liquorice either though. I don't like liquorice (the sweets anyway).
