Production setup

Easssy, ive been producing for a year now on reason 5, i use my laptop an old monitor screen of my old pc and i have a midi keyboard (akai LPK 25)

ive been told that i need to get an audio interface ive only got usb and not firewire so im only looking for usb, i was wondering if any of you guys coulds point me in the right direction.budget is around 200 for the audio interface and if you can think of anything else i need to get that would be worth it TEEELL MEEEE caous i do not no much about this music bussines

go to Guitar Center and have them match an internet price for a Focusrite 8i6 like I did. Someday you'll want more ins and outs than the 2i2 has and you can get the 8i6 for around $230. BOOM! The thing is wicked. The 2i2 doesn't need a power supply which is pretty cool though
