Hip Hop Albums

Post by hugh » Thu Aug 23, 2012 2:29 pm

I meant to make this thread a while ago, but nevermind now is a good a time as any.
Basically about 4/5 months ago I was syncing my iphone with my PC and then my Iphone crashed. Next thing I know, Itunes has deleted my ENTIRE music library (20,000 songs at least)

Needless to say I was furious. This was music I have been amassing since I was 11/12 years old. Now I want some of it back.

Now I can't even fucking remember the names of 2/3rds of the stuff I had there, but I was quite careful to only leave in stuff that I liked so it wasn't just a mess of music there just for the sake of it. Since a huge amount of it was hip-hop, I am just asking for people to shout me any and every decent/half decent hip hop album they have owned or listened to.
I am hoping I will see a lot of stuff that I had and seeing the names of albums and artists will retrigger some lost memories, making the recouping process a bit easier.

so, fire away!

I semi stand-by Kings Of Crunk. From any sort of muso point of view it's simplistic shit with a bunch of thug morons chanting over the top, but some of those tunes used to go OFF in the club. I remember seeing a DJ have his needle pulled by a bouncer at Level in Bristol when he had Throw It Up on and punches started getting thrown... for a couple of months in 2003 that shit was LETHAL.
