Post by Gewze » Thu Aug 23, 2012 5:37 pm

Basically my chick owes me a birthday present, and seeing as i spent a score on her... thats how much i got, I know its not much at all.

Recently ive felt in need of a filter, so some options please :D
ive done some googling and only free ones and expensive ones have shown.

Not sure about plugs but what about a second hand Korg nanokontrol or one of those ribbon synths or that little delay unit they make is pretty cool.

lol that sucks wtf... well I'd suggest to throw in your own money too and basically make it a £20 discount.
Cableguys Filtershaper2, Tone2 Filterbank & BiFilter, AudioDamage Filterstation
All of those are good and cost about double that except Filterstation which is 30 quid.

You might want to just buy the newest Computer Music as the current issue has BiFilter included free (full version), and a crippled version of Philta which can be used for standard HP/LP, but no advanced programming.

£20 hmm... I can't really think of one that comes to mind, but there are a lot of great free ones out there, that do just as good, as paid versions... I'll do some looking around though, and see what I can find :3

+1 for just buying this months Computer Music for BiFilter, its great. (I believe you can buy just the disk content for £2.50 online which makes it even better, I'll look for the link)

+1 for AD FilterStation, I do not have it, but I have Discord and Kombinat. Great company, great plugs. Nothing but love for AD!

Buy a magazine subscription or a load of second hand cd's to sample would be my advice.
