Kick and snare are very weak and need something doing to them to get them to come through the mix. Either subtractive EQing to make a bit of space for them in the mix, or else layering to beef them up a bit.

ok thanks for that :) .... with subtractive equing do you mean find where the kick and snare peak and reduce the frequencies of the other elements of the mix in that range?
