Anyone heard of Solillaquists of Sound?

An eclectic mix of hip hop, live drums, live instrument sampling, a chick with an AMAZING voice an one of those rare MCs who actually seems to really understand what's going in the world around him. They are diverse as fuck and their tunes are fresh as fook.

I posted a tune of theirs in the hip hop thread but it got buried (I'm sure nobody really listens to what anyone else posts there anyway)

Not been a fan of hip hop for a while (bar my boy Possessed from Rhyme Asylum) but just listened through these for background noise. Grabbed my attention and was pleasantly surprised. Nice beats and vocals with a positive message. Thanks for sharing.

Was just jammin to New Sheriff In Town and Second Nature. And their live bits at WPRK. Divinci is pretty good on the MPC.

yeah I would love to see them live, I dunno if they are big enough to come over to the UK though. I doubt it anyway.

I have always appreciated live stuff like this a lot more than your typical DJ set, there is something special about individuals coming together to play live music with live vocals, its not as clean but it creates an amazing vibe and atmosphere. I remember seeing Engine Earz Experiment live,they do a live dubstep but it worked so well live and I was blown away.
