Ableton vs logic?

Post by road4kill » Sat Sep 01, 2012 6:44 pm

I used to use ableton but it was too expensive and i was using the demo. It was easy to edit and it would save all my edits in live time or if i was recording it and changed small parameters it would effect in the final recording, but on logic, it does not. It ends up one way the entire time. Example, If i have the volume a certain way it will stay that way the entire song, the modulation will not change, tempo, If i change anything later on the entire instrument will change the entire song. i want to edit a instrument and make it play different volumes throughout. It really doesn't sound that hard.. but logic how the f*ck do you edit?
