I ripped my tmsv refix of dem a talk to digital so I could listen to it on my ipod on car trips, I don't really see a problem with that...I'm not putting it on the internet or anything

I meant that I dont even have a record player let alone decks. Got well with this about 15 vinyl I just think "thats nice to have" and cant listen too.

If it is illegal then no one pays attention to it, I certainly don't. As an example I can think of a certain big name DJ who regularly drops old white label grime releases on Serato and no one gives a shit. In principle it's no different to ripping a CD you've bought to digital but it's not as straightforward which is why free digital copy with vinyl purchases would be beneficial.

yeah i know no one pays attention to it but it's something to take into account re. the download codes thing... i.e. people expecting download codes does play into an idea about what you're doing when you pay for music which has been false for a long time. obvs though conceptions are changing which download codes play into

No, I'm fairly certain that it's not illegal at all in the United States. Not sure about the United Kingdom though.
