So, since this post was written James got in touch the old fashioned, normal way: picked up the phone to talk. So that's me looking pretty dumb about saying "beyond reach" then.

Chatting to him, it became clear how differently we see both past events, which explains how much of this could have come about. I didn't write this post to cause offence and if I caused it unintentionally, I'm happy to say sorry, because I don't write a blog to be a rude to people. I wrote the piece to mark the emerging of some incredible music. So while our versions of events diverge, I respect the fact that James took the time to call and talk: I hope the 12" sells 100,000 copies.

Roll With the Punches is a good one.

I had this vinyl but i sold it on ere cheap, don't get me wrong theres a lovely vibe on the tune roll with the punches but i just found it too samely and a bit boring. I mean each to thier own and all that but it just really puzzles me that so many peps love this tune. Thats the problem i had with a lot of grime, the fact that most tunes was more or less a loop. I love the build up of a lot of dubstep tunes, i.e mala , silkie and so on. Like a few of malas tunes on in cuba start off weak but build up to something amazing.

I really don't think that's a criticism that applies to roll with the punches. It definitely builds and the switch up in the middle is just pure bliss.
