In room one, Hot Cakes family Supatronix host the album launch party for Deekline & Ed Solo's highly-anticipated forthcoming LP. Expect rump-shaking basslines and the chunkiest of breakbeats from the undisputed pioneers of 808 booty terrorism.
Co-headlining is very special guest and the cheekiest chappy in bass music, High Rankin. This mustachioed musical maniac is the ultimate proof that dubstep isn't all about moody emo types with bad haircuts: currently residing in Berlin, the Brighton-born joker behind smashes such as Miaow Miaow and the brilliantly titled Don't Carry On Like a Rudeboy When Daddy's Got a Yacht, will be flying in with singer Tigerlight to showcase his latest Breaking Hearts and Minds EP. Expect batshit insane shirtless onstage antics and the rudest of basslines from the demon dandy king of dubstep.
If there were a generic name for what Scots bass maestro Hostage does it would probably be something along the lines of hipster rave music, except that sounds bloody awful. Suffice to say this bearded behemoth of bass music is the name on everyone's lips right now with a BBC Essential Mix appearance and releases on the coolest record label in the world right now, Black Butter, to his name. Hot Cakes and
Supatronix will be finding out exactly what he's made of when he blows the roof off JAMM.
The final headliners are incredibly fast-rising London duo Pyramid, world-beating exponents of the currently red-hot future jungle sound. Support comes from Supatronix's own Jurassik and Reveal, as well as Se7en Deadly Breaks.
We also have a major treat for those following the current revival of garage-flavoured bass music. 2-Step legend Scott Garcia's Multi:Ply crew will be taking over room two, backed by a specially boosted Funktion One soundsystem. As well as a special back to back to back set from Garcia, Double 99 and Sticky under their new Foundation moniker, the evening will feature sets from garage guru Narrows, DJ Para and the hotly tipped nu-garage producer Mike Delinquent Project, embraced recently by none other than Radio 1's Annie Mac as the man bringing the sound back to clubs. Support comes from Rude Boi Brand, DJ RS, Chunk Da Funk and Smokey Bubblin' B, while the evening is hosted by Cyanide B and Tempo.
