I watched the first three episodes of this season... this program gets dumber by the minute. However, i have hopes after the death of "fring" or whatever his name was, shittiest character i have ever seen, and approach "so bad it's good" territory again. Last two seasons were just bad.

Also, i swear they advertised this as a comedy in the first season, what happened to that?

and anyway, i think walt THINKS he's done cooking... but he just made a deal with the AZ crew to supply them, as well as the czech republic, AND hooked up with neo sizan for a string of prison murders. you can't just put in your two weeks notice and bounce.

it will be interesting if vince gilligan and crew try to redeem walt. i know that VG stated to bryan cranston that the reason walt was buying that big ass gun in the parking lot of a Denny's was so he had it to protect someone. who he has to protect we don't know.

"Here's what I think no one is getting. Gale didn't give the book to Walt. That's my guess anyway. We never actually saw Gale giving him the book. That's the impression they wanted to leave, but I think it was an intentionally misleading impression.
Gale and Walt talked about Leaves of Grass, and then we see Walt reading it. But we don't see Gale giving it to Walt. I think Walt had it already. If you noticed, it looked like a pretty old book; not something Gale would have bought recently and given to Walt (and he certainly wouldn't give Walt his only copy).
Who gave it to him, then? Gretchen. I had to google it, but Gretchen's maiden name was Black. Therefore also G.B.
And the inscription makes sense. And when Walt chuckles when he reads it, he's not chuckling while thinking of Gale; it's a rueful chuckle when he thinks about how he used to work with Gretchen at Gray Matter.
This also explains why Walt wouldn't destroy this book as he did the other evidence of his crimes; Gretchen gave it to him, he knows that, and doesn't think twice about it.
And so the big irony; Hank figures out who Walt is via a clue that shouldn't even have been a clue to begin with."

where did hank find the "clue"? they found it in gale's appartment alongside other evidences of the "Superlab". so this theory is totally wrong. how could they find a written note from gretchen in gales appartment?!

The idea that it's an old book is false. I just bought that exact copy from Barnes and Noble like 5 months ago.

it was too long ago since i watched that fourth season, so i mixed something up.

just watched that episode (4x04) again and it is a different note. the one on gale's Lab Notes says "To W.W. My Star, My Perfect Silence." and the one in the book are these:



so yeah, it could be right...
