you don't need to buy vengance sample pack to make that snare. All those snares are a 909, a clap, and a tom or quick synth note compressed together. Definitely don't need 700 house and electro snare samples to make something similar

easier to torrent smaller packs...ehbrums1 wrote:why wouldn't you want to buy a large pack?
High Rankin's packs generally have decent drums, and range from like 100-500mb eg:

Wow ok. Pretty sure I've never even bothered to purchase a pack less than 150mb.killakam98 wrote:Thnx, but small packs to me are 20mb and below and never over 50mbmthrfnk wrote:easier to torrent smaller packs...ehbrums1 wrote:why wouldn't you want to buy a large pack?

Re: What Kind of Snare is this and where can I find it?
If you have all those then you can easily make a similar snare with the right EQ, compression and mixing...

Re: What Kind of Snare is this and where can I find it?
Why ppl always ask what snare/clap is this and that, since almost every time the answer is vengeance or layered samples/ layered vengeance samples...

because they aren't as knowledgeable as you?MaZa1 wrote:Why ppl always ask what snare/clap is this and that, since almost every time the answer is vengeance or layered samples/ layered vengeance samples...
Re: What Kind of Snare is this and where can I find it?
Or they dont know how to search,read...? I mean, theres tons of threads like this, ppl asking about some snare, clap or kick where they can get similiar and usually the answer is vengeance or layered samples...
Its just that the forum gets full of these similiar threads, just like those "how to copy this and this artist" threads, theres a thread just for asking that, so why do ppl always start new one...

"how do i make this snare" - *click search* - see threads about different snares - move on to other tactic
yeah, it doesn't work like that. Also, the "how to make this sound" thing could probably be stickied

Re: What Kind of Snare is this and where can I find it?
Why wouldn't you want to buy a pack full of snares like that? If you change your mind, I HIGHLY recommend Vengeance Dubstep Essentials. You will find exactly what you are looking for. If not check out 5-Pin Media's Dubstep Drums, just google it. I'm too lazy too post a link...
EDIT: Btw I used 5-Pin's snares in my sig, so if you want to hear what they sound like. Except I heavily processed them, so the actual samples wont sound exactly the same.
