don't see how this is bro? goose. Nice release tho!
Are we listening to the same thing here? That youtube sampler in OP's comment is straight brostep...terribly unimaginative brostep at that (not that there's any other kind)
I disagree, they have their own sound and that should be acknowledged - disrespectful and ignorant just to dismiss it as the same as other "terribly unimaginative brostep". I don't like this , but i give them props for doing their own thing. Unless i'm wrong and there's been a plethora of artists doing this sound, who knows.
Borrow any 16 year old American's laptop and you will find a whole iTunes library of garbage like this. If this doesn't count as brostep I have no idea what does. It's extremely overproduced / polished (to the point of sounding like a TV jingle) and needlessly aggressive with no understanding of the concept of minimalism or subtlety. Literally everything wrong with mainstream music today can be encapsulated in this (or is it a group? not sure, don't follow the brostep scene) idiot's "music". If I was a mod here I would close this thread and ban his account and he should probably go to jail for directly aiding and abetting in the death of a musical genre.

If more effort was put in the music and less in the promo video, it could have worked.

=> Back on my high horse listening to elitist crap.

There is good brostep(yeah I said it), then there is bad brostep. I'd call this good brostep, even though KOAN often make tunes in an other tempo than dubstep is. There's a creativity to the sound that you won't find in many other producers tunes and the sound design is top notch.

If anyone should get banned it's you, considering that you're not a troll. Then you should definitely get banned since you're just ruining a good forum for discussing.

This argument is becoming lame now.
Let's all move on.

Koan Sound has a unique sound that I respect. It's ignorant to put it in the same box as all the other brostep rehash. There's musicianship. That shit is heavily compressed though. holy fuck.
