as i recall most of my commercial stuff had sep projects for basslines

i made a patch then variations in a sep project then added the bouncdowns to the main tune ith drums and all
it was also due to shit cpu power, but it got me in a good mindset
and yes it mainly was a one preset made and fucked with in a sep file with many variations
