i searched all of the internets and the NI forums for a solution to this bullshit and can't find a fix.
basically, even after re-calibrating the jog wheels, updating all of the (legit) software, and even removing the plate and putting it back in, my left jog wheel is stuck and wont let me spin forward or backward. had some friends look at it----they told me to return that 'shit'.
before i return this 'shit', i was wondering if you heads knew a secret to fixing this
or if i should go ahead and return it.
nb4 - S4 SUCKS / REAL DJS USE TURNTABLES / SKRILLX / MP3Z R NOOB

I hate to state the obvious man, Im not trying to be a smart ass. Have you tried the NI forums? or NI support? I use maschine and the few problems Ive had have been solved fucking lightning fast. Im super impressed with their customer support. I dont have a direct solution for your problem but im sure you can find it there
