Shite one :(
Yeah that's shitebags mate, I'm sorry fam. It's gonna hurt, but afterwards my advice is start hitting the pavements and running, cycling, swimming, whatever - helps boost you up like crazy
Shit Dan, well sorry to hear that. Life blows occasionally, but the man Luke's dead on with this advice.

The only thing that'll make the process a bit easier is the long distance aspect... my last serious one broke up when we were on opposite sides of the country and it was surprisingly smooth... it's the thoughts about getting back together that'll get to you and the less you're around her, the less you'll have. But yeah, there's really nothing like exercise to get your spirits back up... especially running round the Bristol Downs with all the Clifton hockey gally!

You at BrisFest and/or Subloaded over the next couple of weekends? Pints and motivational speeches will be done if so! :w: :w:

Additional waffle: You sound like you're being pretty level headed, which is heartening. Fight, of course, but don't unnecessarily sour your memories... whether she's hooked up with another guy or just realised that long-distance isn't going to work for her, you've had a nice journey together and you'll both have the chance to carry on your lives with smiles on your faces. Relationships come and go for everyone, the only important thing is that we're having a good time in them - if you had a good time up until it ended, it was the perfect relationship and you're lucky to have been part of it, not just unlucky that it had to end... if you weren't having fun then it might've been time to call it a day anyway.

Smiles arrive fairly reliably... but if it takes some time to find one, kay has an ENORMOUS rum collection. Just sayin'.

Well, her and mer mate were supposed to be coming down the weekend of brisfest to visit and go for a night out, which they are still doing, but obviously i wont be putting em up or going out with them, so im free now, might see if i can get a ticket. And i'm all over Subloaded!

Cheers for all the advice, the distance will definitely help. I half expected it because of the distance, but not this early on :i:

ANYWAY, last issue which i could do with some help with. Sorry to all those who cant normally be hacked reading about folks problems and just want em to fuck off with all their whining on the net, this will be over shortly...

Right, we have a holiday booked for October. When i asked her what would happen with that, she was like, well we can still go, im still up for it if you are? We were really good mates for about 10 years before we started going out, so the idea of still going on holiday with her isn't totally mental. It ended really well as well, she came round, said what she had to say, then we spent the next 20 minutes joking about and shit like the relationship never happened.

She is a tad more thick skinned than any other female i've ever met, so shes obviously cool with us going on holiday as mates, but im really not too sure to be honest... Probably a bit too fresh for me at this point.

Dont really wanna give my side of the holiday away either though.

Hmm well (imo) it would be easier for her, I mean she was the one that ended it after all. If you had dumped her when she thought everything was all rosey would she be quite so willing?
I dont think I could do it myself, maybe you could sell your space to one of her mates or buy out hers and go with a mate?

Atleast you have subloaded :h: going to be pretty wild.
