I clearly got my just deserts for spotting a blackberry outside someone's unmanned tent on the first night and popping it back in the porch :u:

Only other complaint this year really was that they extended the campsites quite far, meant a 20 minute walk between tents and the arena compared to five last year. Security were pretty decent I thought, only time I had any problem was when I clearly had a lot of beers on me at wristband gate and one stopped me, I gave him one can and he let me go :h: fair tax

Another thing, now that I think of it - unannounced switching of Flux Pavillion and Soulwax was pretty annoying, thank fuck-fully we realised in time and managed to get over to the big top for a banging set

one thing that particularly frustrated me was seeing King Krule walking around the woods on the Friday night, and then him not turning up for his set on the Saturday night, like I knew he was there

90% of the artists I saw were in Roller Disco which was reasonable or Bollywood which was by far the best tent there so tbh it was easy to find a more intimate setting. Main stage and big top both had fairly shite atmosphere/systems but that's not too surprising given the size. I experienced nothing but good vibes which was probably due to the large number of people blazing or on mandy rather than getting tanked on booze. But again maybe they tended to gravitate towards the smaller tents.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

Bollywood is always the best tent, it always provides, the Rizlab's system was amazing, best in the festival, and ye the Big Top had bad vibes and the system was shit, problem is Bollywood is so fucking hot, you get sweat dripping on your head which can get a bit much

Been going since 2004 and I feel this year especially the intimate special vibe has long gone. The site is too narrow to support 60,000 or whatever it was this year and I heard so many complaints about over crowding in the tents. My gf was in the big top for friendly fires and apparently it was rammed to the point of being dangerous.

The type of crowd has also changed as well but I suppose that is inevitable given the line up and 'quirkiness' of it. Found a lot of people very pretentious and rude even just on small things like when people are pushing through the crowd, in previous years the majority would say sorry or at least acknowledge you if they nudged you when moving through.

I know festivals have to make money but it also seems to have got a little bit greedy, £180 for a ticket, £15 for parking, £8 for a program or £3 for the app. No line up timetable released online so you are forced to pay more money to actually see the acts you have just paid £180 for.

Saw Sigur Ros, Bukem, Pearson Sound, The XX, Alt-J and some others. Oh yeah did anyone see Plastician? Very weak set I was gutted.

We found an iphone and gave it back to the owner :w:

I had a seriously amazing time, been going the last 3 years. Only slight criticism I could make is what other people have been saying - too many people. I guess it was a combination of the non-stop perfect weather and increasing popularity of the festi, but it's made me think twice about next year. Looking at Boomtown or Glade.
