Midi and Audio Out
Okay, my mate has lent me a MicroKorg.
I want to know that if I plug this to my audio interface do I get the sound from the korg to my speakers or just midi that I can use to automate and plays keys in Logic?
Thanks

yes, korg audio out -> interface audio inlegskeattch wrote:ahh is it..

Midi via usb or the 5 pin DIN?
If usb then obviously into PC, if it's DIN then into interface midi in (if your interface has it)
Re: Midi and Audio Out
get a usb->midi adapter. they're pretty cheap and could probably get one from best buy.
anways, like they said. korg's audio out to pc audio in. then use the usb->midi adapter to do PC usb to the korg midi in.

Re: Midi and Audio Out
Okay...
I Bought a cable that goes in the midi in and midi out of the Korg that plugs straight into my mac through usb.
I also bought a 2 x 6.35mm jack into a 1 x 3mm jack but put a 6.35 jack adapter on the end of that and plugged that into my scarlett 2i2 audio interface.
There are no mac drivers on the Korg site, so now im a bit lost!

Re: Midi and Audio Out
shouldn't need any korg drivers... if you're just using audio out of the korg to your mac, just set a channel in logic or whatever you're using to input and pick the audio line from the korg.
