So I'm working on a tune at the moment, usual story, awesome ideas flying through my brain, which is always good.
But I always get stuck at this one point - vocal samples - in my head I have a ridiculously specific vocal sample I want (rhythmic flow, tone of voice etc), but no access to mics/vocalists etc.
Anyone got any tips on searching for very specific vocal samples, either online or elsewhere? I don't really want to shell out £30 on a sample pack which turns out pointless (bad experience)

Save up and get a handy recorder... a Zoom h2 I got. Then just get a friend or your girlfriend to sing... with the type of processing done these days the singer doesn't even have to be decent... denoise... auto tune tastefully.. and drench in reverb
They're well worth the money for finding your own sound aswell in my opinion.

Man, just get a vocal in a style close to what you want. Slice up every sylable and put it in your tune to match that rhythm and pitch each sample slice to taste? On some Todd Edwards shit, man.
