KAHN (Punch Drunk, Box Clever)

Having made a name for himself around Bristol, 2011 saw the release of his debut 12" vinyl single 'Like We Used To' on the renowned Punch Drunk Records. Later in the year (and amongst a series of remixes for the likes of Joker, Superisk and Peverelist) he released his second single 'Way Mi Defend' on the Box Clever imprint quickly followed by his follow up single on Punch Drunk entitled 'Illy', both of which brought him international acclaim.
In 2012, Kahn has been performing internationally and preparing for what will be a very busy year with various releases and the imminent birth of his own label. As a DJ, he performs strictly with vinyl and dubplates and strives to uphold the tradition of the vinyl format in an age where many have turned their back on it.

Needing no introduction in this city, we've invited Sleeper to grace our decks once again.
Sleeper’s music encapsulates what many love about dubstep’s traditional sound, placing a key emphasis on sub frequencies, minimal track composition and intricately constructed soundscapes and textures. His efforts were quickly signed by Chestplate recordings head honcho Dj Distance, and along with sometimes collaborator District they have joined elite company in releasing on the highly regarded and seminal label.
Fast forward a bit, and Sleeper is putting out regular mixes on Radio 1Xtra as part of their Daily Dose of Dubstep, whilst now awaiting his 3rd release on Chestplate featuring Dawn Of The Replicants, Zodiac & Shelter. This is the first of two releases that will be out over the next few months amongst a vast number of dubs that make his DJ sets so unique.

Troy first caught our attention last year when a few of his tracks were included in Synkro's club autonomica mix for fabric. A year later he caught our attention again with his Inverted Audio mix rich with sub heavy tunes that you deserve to hear on our system. Troy now boasts releases on Mindset Records as well as Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings with his latest release Headlights on The Crescent turning a lot of heads.
