Ableton weird static/white noise while nothings playing :/
Ableton has white noise on idle and this exports with tracks and it also stacks so when I load up 30 stems of a track the white noise is super noticable.
I just spent 30 mins exporting stems and now I noticed this ;/ and I cant fix it there just white noise coming from each group while nothing is playing.
I have spent the last 1 hour searching the web and playing with ableton and seeing if I have a negative feedback or something but nah its nothing here.

LOL. Dude its probably just that your ext. in is set to something creating the white noise (ex. computer's microphone) and all of your audio tracks are set to receive the ext. in. The part of the track on the right that says "In, Auto, Off" click "Off". Also if your using the Vinyl distortion device this seems to just create static nonstop, even when the track is playing.

sometimes fx generate white noise, like the ableton vinyl emulator. i've had a simular problem with some of the instruments doing such a thing too. try to isolate the source and you'll find the cause

@Ocelots Revolver If your routing buses, that wouldnt be the best solution
Go to your audio preferences, see what your mic input is. More than likely your audio interface is set as the mic input.. If its a lower end input or even a decent one you might here static if you have any audio tracks set as inputs, if your not recording i would recommend setting no input.

Sure its not some of your plugins? like someone mentioned, tape emulators and the like usually add noise on automatically, if you're using on a lot of channels it will add up. Some variety of sound plugs do this. i like it.

Maybe sound card problems? If you have USB interface, some other USB devices can generate interference in you motherboard like external HDD, pendrive, printer, etc. and this cause some noise.
