I'm using ableton to dj and I still can't double drop for shit. Feels bad bruv. Do I need a sixth sense to know which tunes drops mix well? I'm tired of going back and forth in the mix.

when i mix digital, traktor's key matching function is a godsend

apart from it warps and fucks the sound and makes the rhythms sounds slightly offbeat, or at least thats my experience of Traktor keylock

definitely, i really only use it when it's within a certain amount. any more than +/- 2 and it does exactly what you mentioned

unless.. you know.. arent mixing tunes that are all exactly the same tempo..

I mix based on what tunes I think will mix well together by my ears. Don't actively pay attention to keys.

good way to make sure it won't be a pitch stretch as well
