Where does your screan name originate from

Post by *grand* » Sun Jul 29, 2007 2:42 pm

i guess i shal start with mine.. well i was and still am big into martail arts.. an well the guy with the biggest balls was always called the grandmaster, so ever since i was like 9 or so i would allways play with sticks and call myself that name.. kids will be kids.. when i was liek 12 going to the secondary school i was going to i got the tag Phatzs and well combined the two names Grandmasterphatzs... cut a long story short when ever i told people my name they allways would have to say it 15 times.. so i was just like call me Grand at the age of around 14/15..
Grand by name Grand by nature by 16 shades of himself

easy....i was given the name "perk" by my brother to practice taggin. once i got goin with it, i got to keep the name cause it fit....i moved to philly to really get going with graff and it blew up and everyone called me "perkalerk" like in that one bad rap song called "freak a leak" or whatever the name of it is....so perkalerk stuck. and of course representing that it came from philly(the 215)......holla.

Well CHAM does happen to be the name that I was given to @ birth.... So I figured I would take a spin on "clam chowder" and woolahhh! And, no, I have not tried clam chowder.... I dunno if I am interested in trying it, tbh.... 8)

Started out DJing nothing but 70's/80's disco funk and soul...

Oh, and my surname Barrance got mis-heard by so many people as "Baron" the name "The baron" just kind of stuck. So yeah, when things started to get a bit funkier just, sort of added the "wiggle" bit.

(on a side note, anyone know if the name "kyro" is in use at all?)

Mother fucks! Ive got a MUCH better claim to that name. Absoloute bastards...

(Im studying chiropractic, hence chiro, hence kyro...Not great, but seemed a little more appropriate for a "low down dirty" dubstep night than The wiggle baron...)

sapphic
(adjective)
1. a meter used by Sappho and named after her
2. of or relating to or characterized by homosexual relations between woman

beats...well that should not need explanation.

i was just looking for a psuedonym a few years back (usually i use dj shiva on everything, but occasionally i want a change) and came up with this one.

Randomhed was a term i picked up at uni describing anyone you dont know, but also someone you do know but has possibly lost it due to excessive consumptions of illegal herbs and powders.

Originally I was a randomhed by the first definition and have since became one by the second definition.

I picked this name a long time ago, even before I knew how to work message boards; I used it as my handle for playing video games. I picked it because I like first person shooters, but I really suck at them, so I'd just end up running around drawing fire. This allowed the more skilled teammates to have a shot at everyone shooting at me. plus it's short, easily spelled, and only 2 syllables.
