808 Bass Drop?

Post by VirusTI » Tue Oct 09, 2012 8:00 pm

How would I make a bass drop like this?

Would it just be a sine sub with a pitch bend?

id grab albino, go into the preset banks under diverse layered, the initilize patch is down in the bottom, sinlge sine layer, octave or two down, change the filter type to lp12 it loads at 24 and i think the 24 ads a wierd distortion and filter it down a bit, then go to the porto/glide section and change to bend -4 or -5 ish. should be working for you.

Wanna go sampler? then yeah a long sustained sine,808 or similar, assign envelope to pitch.
