platoon gotta be my favourite nam film
The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it,
because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Think it's a toss up between that and Hamburger Hill.
Full Metal Jacket I've seen too many times and Apocalypse Now the 5hr whatever redux version pretty much killed me last time I tried to watch it in one go.

apocalypse now is by far the best 'nam film. I've watched redux three times b2b before. can't emphasize enough how good a film it is.

you watched it three times in a row without stopping? I don't believe that for a second. that's over 10 1/2 hours.

Shame Tim Burton hasn't had an original idea since Edward Scissorhands.

I swear every tim burton movie is just some sort of dark/macarbe fairytale starring johnny depp & helena bonham carter... every single damn film!

I was on acid. I watched it the first time and didn't know what else to do so I just started it again then the same thing once it finished the second time.

Pretty much...although he is married to HBC so it makes sense to keep the missus in work where possible.

Watched Dark Shadows?
Not bad, not amazing.
Usual great performance by Depp though.
Lone ranger looks ok as well.
Keen on seeing Depp as Tonto.
I enjoyed Big Fish
