I thought I might give one ago but I don't know which to use. What would be more beneficial for leaning muscle; Whey, Creatine or Glutamine?
Supplementing with gutamine is as good as pointless. Stick with your essential fats (omega 3s and 6s), protein, creatine and a lot of people say vitamins (but I'm not too sure). I also take a preworkout, which is also something actually works. But how much you need it depends. It doesn't help with muscle growth, just the workout.

Whey is a fast absorbed, complete protein (contains all amino acids). If you have lactose problems, get isolate. It's more expensive but it's purer and has stuff like lactose removed. If you don't, you can get a concentrate. It's less expensive and durrr, less pure, but by no means low quality. It's all whey anyway.

The other user showed gold standard and while it tastes good and is the best sold whey, I think it's expensive compared to a lot o fother stuff. You only pay for the protein and it's a protein blend of isolate and concentrate and I can get waaay cheaper ISOLATE than that, that also tastes good (here in the Netherlands). So you are kinda being ripped off with it. Like with most brands, since most whey is sourced by one of the same few sourcing plants anyway.

Just look for the whey that has a high density of whey per serving for the cheapest price with the least fat and carbs in there. Still get a flavored whey, but don't buy it for tasting like a milkshake. Just that it tastes good enough for you to enjoy it. And drink it with carb source (some oats in the morning, banana postworkout -- in fact, 2 bananas and 1 shake postworkout is a decent ratio of protein/carbs). If it says isolate and it is a blend, there's likely only very little isolate in there to be able to mark up the price.

Cassein is great, I take one scoop before bed with water. It's mostly a convenience, though. You could also get low fat cottage cheese or quark cheese and find a way to make it tasty. It's almost ALL cassein, lot's of it (80% of all protein in milk is cassein, the other 20 is whey).

Tricep = 3x10 Dumbbell Tricep Extension (Pronated Grip)
Bicep = 3x10 Hammer Curls (Seated)
Chest = 3x10 Dumbbell Flyes (Just do them lying on the ground)
Lats = 3x10 Straight Arm Dumbbell Pullover (will need a bench of some sort)
Shoulders = 3x10 Dumbbell Shoulder Press (seated)

Sorry, couldn't be arsed locating videos but you can find them all linked below

http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/

pro tip: if you want your arms to look big work you triceps hard. that's where most of your size comes from.

2 balance the dumbell on your erection
3 squat down and back up slowly and carefully while balancing the weight

Been doing these for about a year. Strengthens your core real well :W:

Broken several toes, but it's easily worth it.

'Fat burners'. Do they work?

Genevieve, you do the whole bulking/cutting stuff, don't you? Got any insight other than the obligatory "nothing works unless you do" b2b "calories in/calories out, brah"?

Unless you're a proper chubby checker, I wouldn't bother. Most supplements have a diet whey/all in one version if you're worried about the bulk.

whey is considered a "diet supplement" in a way because it has a high protein and low carb fat and sodium makeup.

My mate has got to the point where he's happy with his size but wants more definition. I told him the whole calorie in/calorie out thing but he wants to cut corners. He started looking into D aspartic acid and I went a bit mental at him coz my gut (non GH) tells me it's not a good idea to start messing with T levels, especially when you're in your mid 20's. Bun. That.

He's got his mind set on getting something to help him so I was hoping fat burners worked.

I mean ffs, D ASPARTIC ACID!? Are you dizzy?
