I would like to add Coiled and I Can't Stop This Feeling to the Hessle classics.

Technically Norman French if we're going smartpants which is somewhere in between Latin and modern day French.

I admit that was a little smartpantsy. I suppose that the language that was popular in Europe at given time has influenced all the others - that, plus all the historical events, invasions, occupations or alliances. Polish has lots of words that were borrowed from Latin, then prolly some Hungarian, Italian, German and French (depending who we were friend's or foes with at the time!) Funny enough the new borrowed words are from English, but it's usually the English of Latin roots.

Anyway, every fancy word I know in English is pretty much the same as not that fancy equivalent word in Polish, which is usually of Latin or Greek origin, which has led me to the previous conclusion!
