As techno sounds seem to be getting more and more popular in this neck of the woods I thought here would be a good place to introduce my new blog, Celebrate Techno. (http://www.celebrate-techno.com)

The idea is to build an archive of the best techno music released over the years and I have already compliled a list of 365 tracks which I will add to the blog one-a-day for the next year. This will cover all bases so if you're new to techno it will give you a good understanding of the history of the genre and how it has evolved. And if you've been into it for years I hope the tunes will bring back many nice (sweaty) memories

Yeah the early Detroit stuff had the funk, along with the experimental side, which is what made it so special. Plenty of Detroit classics will be posted on the blog so you might wanna keep an eye on it
