Main room setup is brilliant, and upstairs at Spektrum is good too. Advice is to get in touch with the promoters now and find out, but bringing your own needles is definitely a good shout. Failing that, burn cds.
Spektrum room is where im playing.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
Ah good, it's nice up there. Still consider bringing your own needles and enjoy yourself!
best room sankeys has, basically the only reason i'll go to that club if something good is on there

they have full vinyl setup in spektrum and the dj booth looks like one of the best in the city tbh, two monitors, think its Allen n Heath Xone 62 but could be 92 not sure

can I ask how does one get a set at sankeys?

didnt that place get voted like best club in the world a few years back? Dont worry about their setup.. The 3 booths they have are state of the art or there abouts. Back up needles is a good shout just in case.

Lot of practice between now and then. When I got my first couple of nights to play out I kinda created a setlist in my head from pure practice. Many late nights at uni with some herbal inspiration and finding the right tunes. I guess some people would see that as a little fake but for me I put in a lot of time on the decks before hand and everyone in that piss streak of a bar was offering to buy me a drink after my set. Nothing better than people recognising your hard work after you put it in.

Im sure youve got the capabilities anyway.. like i said how does one get a chance to play at Sankeys? kinda speaks for itself for me really

Yes, because they paid hefty "advertising" through the year to DJ mag.
