So it's been a while but Spor's finally put out some new stuff

I'm definitely biased cuz i love pretty much everything from spor. I honestly think he was just wetting our tongues and seeing how people would respond to this release. They also may have been tracks that didn't make it on his album. Production is always massive from this fellow!

I liked push me pull you when I first heard it a year or two ago, glad that finally got a release. Ziggurat seems a bit bland. I'd honestly just be glad if he released all his unreleased Spor tunes... oh and everything Seventh Stitch

I like the second song more honestly. It's got great vibes and is a pretty unique composition imo. I like em both though. Just as i like his feed me stuff. S'all good man.

Spor just sounds like feed me now, but Drum & Bass. Noithing wrong with that being a huge feed me fan, but i could see how diehard spor fans would be annoyed

that very first synth pluck is the synth from "cloudburn" or at least something like it

I appreciate both tracks. To me, I think "Ziggurat" has a subfocus vibe to it ...sustained sub bass with an audible mid-layer reese, however not too much crazy reese modulation work. Most novelty comes from the melodic elements which is different from his older Spor stuff. Same can be said about"Push me, Pull you". Certainly a departure from his older stuff. I think that the feed me project, which included a more melodic vibe, has been carried over in these tracks as well.

I like the second track a lot, the first one doesn't really hold up to the old Spor tunes imo. Still a huge Feed Me fan though, and I honestly think that Love is All I Got is one of his better tunes tbh.

My thoughts.

Sound like he opened up some half finished old projects whilst on a Feed Me tour when he got bored, tapped out a few lead lines and then just sent them off for mastering.
