Yeah, I mean I was really enjoying it but it just felt like it fell apart in the last ten minutes. Also, the hammer scene made me flinch a little if I'm totally honest.

The Searchers - Visually the best Western I've seen and the underlying premise is the inspiration for the screenplay of Taxi Driver. But the acting was very average other than Wayne and the plot was really ropey in parts. Despite what some say this is not a racist film though. And the excellent direction/cinematography makes me look forward to other John Ford films particularly Stagecoach and Grapes of Wrath.

Seven Samurai - Kept me entertained throughout it's long duration. In fact the length actually gives you time to get to know the characters and definitely works in the film's favour. The battle scenes were excellent also and the final scene is particularly powerful.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

-_-" Not at all what I was expecting. Didn't know whether it was trying to be funny or scary.

Gotta disagree with you there, personally I thought it was just average. Good cast though.

One of the best (apart from the special effects when the skeletons come out the ground)

Which, considering when it was made, still looks a lot less dated than some of the CGI shite out there. Ray Harryhausen is a king.

Found this one a bit underwhelming tbh. Better than the overly serious shit that usually comes out though.
