ableton music making

Post by plagueofdarkness » Wed Oct 24, 2012 8:57 pm

I use massive in ableton, but the sound just repeats itself. How do I alter how fast it is? instead of a wubwubwubwub a wubwuubwwwubwub.

hahaha so typical. gotta love it :U:

my advice for you, is stop focusing on wubs and learn music and the software. wubs arent that cool anymore anyway, you missed the bandwagon.

Make your LFO synced to the filter Cutoff and then just play with the sync ratio.

(Not sure if trolling, although probably it is, so might as well answer).

Hint : the sync rate has a little square under it. USE IT!

1st mod as LFO = WOB
2nd mod as stepseq or perf = modulate the 1st LFO sync rate
3rd mod as slooooow LFO = modulate whatever sounds cool in 2nd or 1st modulator

Use macros as well!
