Halloween is not an excuse to be trannys for the night people :a:
It most definitely is though
Yeah, it kind of is.

Can only be a good thing Jim! We'll look hideous together... Gonna take a trip to primark this weekend to pick out a little sexy number. I'll have to dig out the old Y's too, I lost my thong...

Don't do it. It's a good idea on paper, but the only reason you should fuck with that pitch pot is to calibrate your decks, e.g so the strobes on each deck are synced at the same pitches.
I changed my 1210's to +/-10% pitch when I first got them...all it's done is made it harder to mix (precise pitch adjustments get less precise the bigger the pitch range init) and for the amount of hassle it takes to un-do the mod, I can't be bothered opening them up again.

+/- 5% pitch would be a better mod to be honest...more accurate

Theyre MK5G, they dont lock on 0 right?
MK5G are meant to be the tits. MK2s are good enough but there are lots of subtle improvements with the MK5G

i've been tempted to upgrade from my MK2s for a while but not entirely convinced it's worth it. there's loads of mods you can do to standard technics to make them shit hot. there's pretty much an industry built out of modifying technics for crazy audiophiles
