RADIO - Bros. Boyd-New Radio Show from San Antonio, TX

Post by jutboyd » Sat Jul 28, 2007 6:19 pm

Hello Everyone, I am starting my radio show tonight on KRTU 91.7. My show is called "The Thread". The idea is that I will pick an album or genre (tonight it is dubstep, of course) and trace its roots and tributaries back to where I see their sources coming from. It will by no means be an exhaustive look, but at least a conscious effort to see where a genre comes from and how it has progressed. The Thread will air every Saturday from 12-2am Central Standard Time and can be streamed on the Web at : www.krtu.org If you are home tonight or up late abroad, tune in and give a listen. Hope this finds you well.

Hello Everyone-
Thank you to all of those who listened to my show last night, I have
had a few folks ask if it was recorded or archived...we are in luck, it
was. If you go to www.krtu.org and click on the listen live link within
that menu there is an audio archive link, click there and then click on
Sunday at 12am (It now says ETJ)for the first part of the show then
click on 2am slot (Fake plastic fruits) for the second half of the
show. I nervously played from 12-3, I didn't do all I wanted to or play
all I wanted to and had some trouble with the mixing board, but I hope
you can enjoy it in spite of the hiccups. Hope your well, and I will be
back on next week from 12-2am on Sat/Sunday morning. Thanks,
justin
ps, i will post up the tracklist later on today

Not sure which show I took over exactly, but I am excited to be doing it. Nice that you listen in from Austin.
