If you didn't have the record you could just pose with a mate who does have it to get it. There would be a few ways to dodge this

What is you subsequently sell the plate? Would you then delete the rip of it also?

I actually did this. Sold Omar-S - Day and deleted the rip I had of it.

easier for me to buy vinyl then download a good quality vetted rip from whatcd tbh
cant be fucked reocrding records and cutting them up and saving thenm out etc

good idea tho. but too nany people with terrible taste on dsf for it to work
