i did although i cant stand the host. man, the prison is my favorite part in the comics. theres just something about it, super violent, fortified. they will have to work harder to make the next trek interesting
i love him! he was a staple on attack of the show.

Think there was someone similar i think and a guy called axel who stays with them for a while. I hope they dont fuck up the governors character too much, they have done well so far though.

its an awesome series. I think now its like 5 big books. theyve really done right by the horror comic nerds like myself, i mean, the show makes me feel the same way the comics did,if that makes sense. thats really rare especially when every comic book ever is now ending up on screen, but thats a completely different topic.

I suppose theres only room for one black guy per series. Did anyone see what happened to the white prisoner?

I don't see why they killed off one of the better characters or at least one of the ones that had potential.

right? why not kill carol, she was useless since she didnt end up doing the c-section anyways. t-dog had some deeper complexity in him and they could've gone places with that
not to mention that his death was sort of lame...
and it happened pretty much as soon as the crew picked up another black dude

RIP T-Dawg, should have seen that coming from a mile off when he had more than one line of dialog in this episode.
Quality writing:
"Well our token black slot for the group has opened and there are two of you left..."
*Big black prisoner shoots troublesome little black prisoner*
"Welcome to the group replacement T-Dawg!"
Also great acting:
"OH NOoOoO!"

tbf how do you convey the horror of having your child shoot your wife in the head and that is actually the ideal in the situation. thats fucked.

I think what makes rick bad for me is that i know he's english. Does the accent sound really bad to american ears?

I think what struck me as powerful in that scene is that he walks right past Carl and lil-Shane and just melts down in his own little pool of despair. I was able to get past the weakish moan/scream of horror.

really? i guess that explains why i've always thought his accent sounded a bit awkward
and i think he acted really well in that scene...
