no, i dont think you know what you're talking about. what the panty inspector is doing would be okay, if he would give credit where it's due. say "big up
name for hosting this." It's common "netiquette" to not link to other people's things without asking them.

@ doomstep dont get your knickers in a twist- are you dumb just some skepta/roll deep thing not meant to be rude. I get what you saying about credit where its due and I agree, last time I went on his website I saw a lot of 'big up so and so' etc but that was a while ago. @doomstep i agree with your first post referring to the copyrighted stuff.
In summation (ha ha) good music should be shared and
I think a page gathering all those mixes together is a positive thing but panty inspector should go about in a better manner i.e no copyrighted shit and props where its due. Im not sure if i'm disagreeing wit you or not now. fuck it.

i don't want to get implicated in all this but i do think people should be acknowledged. hosting is easy, if not financially, but recording takes a great deal of effort; this should be acknowledged. i've seen many of my rips up on the mixingbowl and i don't really care as i record them to spread the sound but i really do hope that the people who listen care for the fact that someone has taken the time to bother.
signed boomnoise,
and i'm sure, on behalf of other marginal music recorders everywhere.

yeah bro, no twisted knickers daan here mate. I kno "are u dumb" is just a turn of phrase, as is "dont get rude" yeah ... I was a bit surprised by yr post is all, I thought my position was pretty clear from my initial posts. Really it was the accusation of "bare hypocrites" that I didn't like ... I may be alot of things, a hypocrite is not one of dem.
I totally agree that good music belongs to everyone, which is why I whole heartedlly agree with recording n upping radio / live shows / promo mixes etc. posting others links is another kettle of fish ... really the links should be to the page / site that the link was originally found at ... that way everyones getting the recognition they deserve, and the traffic through their sites.

Yeah yeah, sorry for any offence. Basically we agree, I think initially I thought people were angry about something different. I have a habit of doing this, haha.

I've recorded quite a few mixes that were leeched to RWD forum and no credit or thanks. Just stollen links.
I've tried to make a thanks page to the big time recorders on barefiles and on the 1 time recorders I've put an info saying who did it.
