Audio pitches down when importing to logic?

Post by talizman » Wed Nov 07, 2012 12:02 pm

Hi !

I have a very anoying issue with Logic Pro.

I'm working on a remix, and i've made some flex time/melodyne process with the vocal, and bounced it down to a .AIF file, now, as i import it back to the project, it has been pitched down like -12 semitones and it sounds horrible. :|

I can't see any reason for why it's doing this and it is really getting on my nerves...

Anybody know what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance!

/Leo

This has happened to me before, what I did to fix was loaded the sample in Audacity, then exported from there and it worked fine!

It's probably to do with the sample rate of the sample vs the project. Maybe convert the sample to 44.1khz or whatever you're working in.
