Chillstep track by me - The Northern Lights

Hi guys i want to introduce you to my new project called The Northern Lights . It's a fresh , chilling but sometimes dark tune wich will let you enter to a special mood (not angry due to my lack of producing skills , but dont worry , I post there so i can be concious about my mistakes ).

nice tune u got there

only critique would be the drums: kick and snare sound a bit weak in the mixdown to me; also the rhythm sounds a little too hectic to me compared to the overall feeling the tune creates/wants to create.

Apart from that, really nice vox and a good solid subbass

the atmospherics in the track are great, although it lacks a little space.

Yees , I felt the same when i use other headphones , I would agree with you about kick and snare .
That difference between headphones must couse this result , but it's sounds otherwise on speakers .

awesome beat/percs, overall great melody and vocal samples. But yes the kicks definitely could use eqing, and for the snare perhaps a touch of compression/reverb.

and it reminds me alot of Trifonic.
