Leamington Spa/ Warwick
Good mate of mine, safest, most sound guy is in leamington spa as has been working at aston martin. He's obviously there purely for the job and its pretty quiet and knows pretty much no-one/ anything going on...
Are there any good nights gwaning?
And also, he has to move out of his flat quite soon, and is sick of living with dry people who don't like beats - is anyone here from there, or knows anyone that might be looking for a housemate/ looking to move anytime soon?
Any help really appreciated, cheers.

Good nights? Most of them are for students which may/may not be his style I suppose. Just don't expect anything too niche like in the major cities, I think most of the clubs cater generic chart stuff which again may/may not be his style.
I do believe the one club Smack occasionally has some good dubstep/dnb artists but the club life isn't exactly booming. I suppose it mirrors the place, you said yourself that it's pretty quiet; it's much more town-like than city like I find, which can be a bit dull.

i'm from rugby, about 20 minutes away from there.
could be worth him looking into nights in coventry, saw youngsta there about a year ago (have since then moved so i'm not sure what the situation is now).
good nights at smack are rare tbh, it's pretty chino-friendly.
& seismic records should still be about, haven't heard anything about it closing.

I went to that record shop today, seismic records. Looks like i have just missed a potently good night with S.P.Y., MC LOWQUI ,ROSKA, CHIMPO & BARELY LEGAL yesterday Friday 9th November 2012 at smack.... It wasnt really advertised a round town very well but i guess im out of the loop at the moment.
So its sound like there are some head out there in this sleepy town.
Keep me posted if there is anything less happening up here.
Cheers!
