1) Get home from work and then see if the tune I started last night still sounds good

2) Sit at my computer and stare for awhile

3) Get frustrated

4) Go to bed

Rinse and repeat

Personally i've been trying to organise my stuff lately. Working on sound design a lot, as i found that i often start a track and run out of basses or other sounds. I've been trying to organise my sample library so that i have a few great quality samples and know where they are. Also been watching tutorials on music theory, practising keyboard skills and generally working on the more musical side of production.

This is what i spend most days doing lately. I've started a few tracks but not been happy with them, so working on core skills seems like a good idea at the moment.

spliff has become one of my favorite tools. adds some crazy atmospheres. ;-)

My objective today is to produce something without looping or using copy paste, and making every midi clip one contiguous clip from beginning to end. Hopefully this'll break my recent loopitis.

Finished the remix like I said today, uploaded it before I checked the mix on my headphones and I can now hear that I should've worked more on it, but whatever... Hehe :P

here's the product of my day :P

Think I'm gonna work on my heavily orchestral influenced dnb track after I've eaten some food and watched some TV. Pretty tired, first time in a long time that I've just sat and produced without doing much else for 5+ hours.

This is how everyday (during the week) goes:

1. School. Halfway throughout the day feel motivated as fuck, "when I get home I'm going to go hard, no more games. 8) :x "
2. Actually get home...
3. :o
4. :H:
5. Wake up, sit at computer trying to come up with something half decent.
6. :corntard:
7. :|
8.

Repeat. Every, fucking, day.

On the weekends, it's just 4-8.

Occasionally, I come up with something I like, then the next day I can't fucking add anything to it and end up bailing on the project and starting a new one.
Number of completed tunes : 1
Number of started projects : 82

Practice my envelopes and lfo's in Massive.
Using only 1 oscillator with a high-pitched triangle wave.

I want to learn the best of this vst.
I've seen people do some strange things with it that I didn't understand.
Keep progressing, one day you'll be great. :)
