2 issues with the vote:

This. Totally superfluous election which will end up as a popularity contest with no actual focus on policies. Not sure how much power they have anyway. Fundamentally a good idea IMO, poorly executed.

Somewhat although I'd vote for a bell end with similar views rather than a cool guy with opposing views.

The people voting in this will most likely mainly consist of family and friends. Literally got no information on any of the candidates at all. No point in voting and it must be the same for everyone who doesn't know a candidate personally or work in the field.
