Maggie is american but she grew up in the UK and has a decent UK accent (also a gorgeous jew)
ricks american accent is decent... southern US accent is kinda easy to pull off... the more impressive brit doing an american accent is Charlie Hunnam on sons of anarchy
he's so cheery and british but he pulls off jax teller perfectly

well that was grim
also you know how it was seven months between the end of last season and the beginning of this first?
they were next to that fucking prison, all it would have took was someone to to take a shit far enough out for them to discover it.
i can't get over this tbh.

Just watched the first episode, so forgive me for not reading the thread..
Story and acting is quite good. The bad cgi kind of took away from it imo.
Feel like it could all be a bit 'grittier' too, would fit the whole thing better.
Bet they'll come up with some fresh stuff though. Other than the usual 'you have got to hit them in the head'
and the classic 'I can't kill that zombie, cause it used to be my wife'.

so let me get this straight:
people turn when bitten
people turn when they die
so are there two strains? or do people always just die when bitten or scratched or something? why?
i cant remember but there must have been an instance where someone was scratched or had a bite that didnt cause them to bleed out, and then died and turned as opposed to having huge chunks taken off them by zombies, the kind of bodily damage that would kill them regardless of how it happened?
if scratching or a little bite turns them into a zombie that means they get a fever and die, right? - then the airborne virus they all carry should means everyone should be ill and dying or dead by now? so are there two strains (airbourne and direct contact) or what mannnnn... how does it work?
last one was very good episode. here's another topic of discussion, the governor - good or evil?

Re: The Walking Dead Season 2 [also season 3] [also spoilers
pretty much i guess. everyone's infected with whatever makes you turn into a zombie when you die, however zombie bites/scratches have some other disease/strain that ends up killing youcryptical wrote:so let me get this straight:

Re: The Walking Dead Season 2 [also season 3] [also spoilers
can't wait for the merle vs rick vs daryl sans glen faceoff
Re: The Walking Dead Season 2 [also season 3] [also spoilers
I see your point, dosent make much sense with the fever thing when bitten, but no fever for catching the virus without a bite. Also dosent make much sense to me that you can get zombie blood and guts all over your body and into your open wounds and mouth and not turn because of it.cryptical wrote:so let me get this straight:

I think were thinking too hard about it. The virus is just there waiting for you to die to kick in, but a bite will do it instantly, well in like 20 mins anyway.

What was with those phone calls? All in Ricks head? Wish that old dude would have said if the phone was really working or not.
And yea the gov is evil, remember how he killed all those troops and then went into that room to stare at his collection of heads in aquariums? Keeping his daughter around is the one sort of nice thing I have seen him do, but it's kinda fucked up. Still I want to know what his plan for the town really is.

Yeah but is he truly evil or is he looking out for his own??
I'm glad to see the virus thing didn't confuse just me a bit. I probably am overthinking it, but the whole blood in the mouth, face, eyes, wounds stuff is too bait not to point out.

i dont think it's that ambiguous, i mean he killed those military dudes in cold blood, and the whole wall of zombie heads? obviously the dude's a bit fucked up
edit: yeah, the blood splatters have always bothered me. they all would've been infected a million times by now

Re: The Walking Dead Season 2 [also season 3] [also spoilers
