You can still find most Gamecube games quite easily if you look hard enough. Now a Wavebird controller on the other hand...

Just played an hour of AC3 on it. This system is plenty powerful. Game plays/looks the same if not better as far as viewable distance and evironment

also: miiverse blows xboxlive and PSN out of the fucking water. The in game messageboards and screenshot and ability to have a browser open while you game with little difficulty is beyond useful

How's the load time? I noticed on streams for like ZombiU it seems to be pretty damn long.

considering its running two things at once it takes like 20 - 30 seconds initially. After that its just like alt tabbing on a PC

Probably gonna pick one up soon then, just wish all the titles weren't $60 a pop... PC gaming has spoiled me with sales and low prices -w- .

Yoshi’s Land rumored for Wii U

According to recent retail store listings at Best Buy and Future Shop, Yoshi’s Land for the Wii U is incoming. Not only is the game listed, it’s available for pre-order as well. On top of that, the game description at both retailers looks convincing as well:
“Take Yoshi on an epic adventure to remember in Yoshi Land for Nintendo Wii U. Check out Yoshi as you’ve never seen him before: in glorious high definition. Enjoy dual-screen control thanks to the Wii U Touchscreen GamePad, while you’ll also be able to experience full integration with Nintendo’s MiiVerse service.”
Best Buy and other retailers usually just copy-paste the PR they are given by publishers, and the above certainly sounds like something Nintendo would write. Yoshi’s Land on Wii U sounds like a very likely proposition, although nothing is confirmed at this point.
Over the past few months Nintendo has hinted that more Wii U games are in development that haven’t been announced, and Yoshi’s Land could very well be one of them.
It’s uncertain when Yoshi’s Land Wii U will be released — Nintendo has a highly anticipated title ready for March 2013: Pikmin 3. It’s unlikely that Nintendo will release Yoshi’s Land during that period. Perhaps Summer 2013 is the best bet. But first, we need official word from Nintendo about the game.

Fire Emblem and the RPG could be cool, but I was hoping for more.... like F-Zero or Starfox.
Kind of glad I've put off getting a Wii-U so far.

See I still have an N64 since emulation sucks for it in general.

As much as I would love Conker as well, Rare is owned by Microsoft so the chances are next to nil.
