easy, i just been listening back to some of my tracks which i made on reason 3 thru windows media player, and they sound a bit crackly and badly mastered, but then i listened to these same track through audacity... as in i opened them up in audacity as oppose to media player and they sound fine! so why did they sound dodgy in media player?
any ideas?

I don't use audactiy but as its a wave editor I'm asuming you can choose what audio drivers to use within the program, whereas on windows media player it uses the drivers from the main control panel settings, try changing them if you have more than 1, change them to the same 1s audacity is using if you can.
personally Ive never had problems wiv wmp10, but when i upgraded to 11 it was just pure shitness.
