Akala - A Little Darker: good collection of proper grime tunes
Clipper - 180 Degrees Of Fire: Starts off with a bang, keeps it grimey
Dizzee Rascal - Boy In Da Corner - The best,humble,high bass synthy grime
Durrty Goodz - Axiom Ep - A Mixture of High bass Grime & Dubstep with Goodz amazing flows
F1 - Penga,Need 4 Speed: What Got me into Grime,fast clappy beats,bassy music,mc just flowing with the tunes.
Various - Grimey Frogs: french and Uk Grime, with some amazing instrumentals
Jammer - Jah mek Classics - Grime Greats like Destruction, some classics
jammer - Straight necklin: really good,much better than are u dumb 1 and 2
JME - Derkhead: Great vocal tunes,even better instrumentals from skepta
MDK - Hostile takeover: midlands and Grime Combined, heavy bassed grime,with a slight asian flavour.
media Gang - Practice Hours - Its all so good, the instrumental cd is crazy
NY - Split Endz 2: G N B Grime R n B excellent work NY
Ruff Sqwad - Guns n Roses 2: the best out of the 3 mixtapes,top tunes like nug and xtra
Various - Run The Road 1 and 2: Worried if u dont have these cds' all good stuff
Various - Heavy Meckle: mc's vocalling grime tunes from 2005 Fyaaahhh
Various - Street beats: Standard purchase, with stuff from agent x,jon e cash, old skool grime
Styler - Stylers got style: Just really enjoyable,production is what grimes about fruit loops and that.
Wiley - Da 2nd Phase,Playtime is over,Tunnel Vision 4: easily his best work
Youngstar - The Catalogue part 1: Pulse x, and loads from the originator of the sound (big)

101 Grime Instrumentals Part 1 is, unsurprisingly, shit, the man behind that clearly went round to several producers houses and asked for any old shit they had on their computer. There are a few exceptions though. Plasticman, Alias & J Sweet contributed some high profile good tunes. Strangest is the Kromestar tracks, could put you off him for life but he's that much better nowadays, you wouldnt think it was the same person.

Derkhead Version 3 is nice, proper quality control and a bargain with the 4/4 CD too

Streat Beats is brilliant.

So is anyone actually releasing 'mix' tapes, as in mixed tunes rather than straightup albums? The Heavy Meckle CD was a good attempt at that

You forgot Wiley Kat's limited edition demo cd with DJ Slimfast circa 1996 featuring the banging tunes "It's a bit chilly out der, innit?" and "Top Boy Junglishnishment" (Ratpack Rmx)...
