Dubstep.co.uk website and domain for sale

Post by delexi » Mon Oct 29, 2012 11:53 am

Hi all

I am posting this here as I thought it might be of interest

I am currently selling my website: Dubstep.co.uk. I setup this up as a social networking site and intended to promote it and make it grow but I just don’t have the time to do it anymore. Someone with more time and motivation could turn this into something really special

I am selling it on flippa. All details about the site and whats included are on there. You get everything basically, domain, site, software license, artwork etc. you just need your own hosting.

Mods: This is not spam. Its dubstep related. This will be the only thread I make on your forum.

It says Google Page Rank 1. What's it number one of?

I tried search for Dubstep UK and it came in 4th behind a Soundcloud group and a Guardian article on Skrillex?

wub wrote:Google Page Rank
Google page rank is Googles score out of 10 of the authority your site has online (based on the amount/quality of sites that link to you)

So this has 1/10.

dubstepforum has 4/10

offtopic: I hate Google page rank - i do SEO for a living & clients get obsessed with it (and its now a defunct system.)

edit: that site is not worth $1,150. (i dont trust they are real bids)

There is no reason why anyone would pay that much money for an unestablished domain. Just because its called 'dubstep.co.uk' does not give it any SEO benefit above dubstepbill.co.uk or some other shit.

Compared to a lot of other websites dubstepforum is relatively small.

It has almost 20,000 links - which is good. But small compared to the BBC which has pagerank of 9, with over 1.9 million links.

I also do SEO for a living..

this is from their new change

"Google will only demote exact-match domains with low quality content. If the exact-match domain is authoritative, reputed and having quality contents, then it will continue ranking higher in Google SERPs, despite the algorithm change." so yes it will still help, depending on whats actually hosted on it.

dubstepshit.com with same links / content / seo treatment
dubstep.com with same links / content/ seo treatment

dubstep.com will rank higher
