I know for a fact that there's going to be some current "deep" dubstep on there by a rather new duo, but whether he's going to mix it with the bro-y stuff or grime or whatever, I don't know. It could be really good, but it could also be really bad...

This isn't some cynical or depressing thing I'm saying here. But it was seriously great to see a genre rise up, evolve and then completely stagnate in my lifetime. In such a short period too.

It makes me sad considering how much I used to enjoy this music and how much effort and time I used to put into it.
This forum is the only real vestige of dubstep I have left.

Now I hear people at my work going on about how great it was that James McArthur used some dubstep in his latest x factor appearance and I just think "fml and all the people in it"

Plastician is an odd choice. Was at that Decadance thing at Fabric but was far too busy in Room 3 (Keysound) to be venturing off into Room 1.

As he was doing those retrospective Decadance sets I thought they might have chosen him 'cos they'd got to 10 and decided that was gonna be the last one and do a sort of 2002 - 2012 "best of" kind of mix.

But to be honest it looks like it's gonna be like the last two, OK, but not great.
